Congratulations to Eliot Middleton – Our Helper of the Month for July!

July 30, 2021

Americans Helping Americans® is honored to award Eliot Middleton our Helper of the Month Award for July. Congratulations, Eliot!

Eliot Middleton lives in rural McClellanville, South Carolina, where public transportation and ride share services don’t exist. Since 2020, Eliot has helped his neighbors who have issues with obtaining reliable transportation by repairing 28 vehicles and has given them to families in need. Many of these consist of single mothers who need to take their children to school.

Eliot’s home is full of disabled vehicles that just need some love and care. He says the first car he repaired and donated went to a mother of two in Charleston, who had a disabled child that regularly needed to go to the hospital. “The first time they were able to go to the beach was after I gave her a car,” Middleton said.

Inspired by Eliot’s actions, Americans Helping Americans® will make a sizeable gift to his gofundme page to ensure that hundreds of cars can be repaired and delivered to families in need of transportation.

Good work Eliot and thank you for your amazing work!
