Congratulations to Lev Burstein – Our Helper of the Month for March!

March 25, 2022

Americans Helping Americans® is honored to award Lev Burstein as our Helper of the Month for March. Congratulations, Lev!

Lev Burstein, who is 13 years old, started Hot Sauce 4 Heat, which is dedicated to providing proceeds of every sale of its hot sauce to help people pay for their utility bills in Philadelphia.

Recently, Lev learned that 19,000 households struggle to pay their annual heating bills in his city and he wanted to help.

Lev began making hot sauce in his parents’ kitchen and selling it on street corners and at farmers markets. Now, he’s online and has a goal of getting into restaurants and retail stores.

So far, Lev had raised almost $10,000!

Lev is an inspiring young man with a sincere heart and a willingness to do good. For that, Americans Helping Americans® will honor him by making a sizeable donation to a utility assistance program in Philadelphia.

The Helper of the Month Award is designed to show the amazing, wonderful, hard-working, and dedicated people in American communities. We’ll be sharing these stories with you in the hopes that you’ll walk away as inspired as we are to do good things in your community!
