HELPER OF THE MONTH Zohiab Begg

Congratulations to Zohiab Begg – Our Helper of the Month for June!

July 1, 2021

Americans Helping Americans® is honored to award Zohiab Begg our Helper of the Month Award for June. Congratulations, Zohiab!

Last year, 8-year-old Zohiab made headlines as he gathered personal protective equipment for frontline workers battling COVID-19 in Virginia. Recently, he tackled a new cause; homelessness in Washington, DC. He prepared 1,000 homeless kits consisting of food, toiletry items, and supplies from companies he personally reached out to and gave them to people in need on the outskirts of the 3rd Street tunnel off New Jersey Avenue. This little helper is a caring soul with a lifetime of goodness already experienced.

Inspired by Zohiab, Americans Helping Americans will make a sizeable gift to homeless shelters in the Washington, DC area to continue to provide support in the form of counseling, tutoring, and educating those in need.

Good work Zohiab and thank you for looking after your neighbors. Keep up the amazing work!

The Helper of the Month Award is designed to show the amazing, wonderful, hard-working, and dedicated people in American communities. We’ll be sharing these stories with you in the hopes that you’ll walk away as inspired as we are to do good things in your community!
