Our Mission is to join communities, build and strengthen neighbor relations, and work side by side with residents to address community-wide concerns linking them to the resources supportive of a healthy, safe and economically vibrant standard of living.

Food Box Program
Provides thousands of food boxes, each enough to feed a family of 4 for a week, to communities in need.
EDUCATION PROGRAM
Offers children academic assistance, school supplies and the support they need to be successful in school.
HOME REHABILITATION
Provides families with safe and stable housing, including repairing roofs, floors, rotting porches and stairs and more .
BASIC NEEDS
Provides essentials such as coats, blankets, footwear, and dental kits, along with grants to local partners for utility bill assistance, preventing evictions, and ensuring electricity for medical needs.

Generations of families in Appalachia face crushing poverty and limited opportunities. Americans Helping Americans works to provide essential resources—food, housing, education, and more—to empower these communities and create lasting change.
