Affordable Housing For Our Veterans

Our program Veterans Housing Support (VHS), offers homeless veterans in Fairfax, Virginia affordable single unit apartments. The program not only provides housing for our veterans, it provides case management services aimed at maintaining housing stability and connecting participants with benefits, employment assistance, medical and mental health services, and other necessary support services determined during assessment and intake.

Challenges

We understand low-income veterans face unique challenges in their everyday lives such as  homelessness, housing affordability, limited employment opportunities, lack of access to health care, lack of social support, PTSD, substance abuse and more. These challenges are magnified when you don’t have a stable home within a nurturing community. We aim to combat these challenges by providing a pathway for veterans to rebuild their lives through affordable housing and support services.
