In addition to our longtime community partners in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and West Virginia, AHA provided services to the following organizations and their respective locations:

  • CRSC Residential: 159 veterans received holiday food in partnership with the Christian Relief Services affiliates’ affordable housing projects in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Peoria and Tucson, Arizona, Wichita, KS, and Houston, TX.
  • Fishnet Mission, AR: 620 individuals benefited from backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies, blankets, and winter coats.
  • Belfry Elementary, Junior High, and High School, KY: 1,670 students benefited from backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies.
  • Aurora Elementary School, IN: 400 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies.
  • Bethan United Methodist Church, PA: 250 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies and shoes.
  • Bevins Elementary School, KY: 300 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies.
  • Falmouth Elementary School, VA: 150 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies.
  • George’s Creek Elementary School, MD: 308 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies and shoes.
  • Hartwood Elementary School, VA: 150 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies.
  • Lake Butler Middle School, FL: 200 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies, fleece, and shoes.
  • Life Care Support Cares, MS: 670 individuals received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies, hygiene supplies, coats, and shoes.
  • Midnight Run, NY: 250 individuals received coats, hygiene supplies, and blankets.
  • Phelps Elementary School, KY: 200 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies, dental kits, dry food boxes, and shoes.
  • Prince of Peace United Methodist Church, VA: 250 individuals affected by a hurricane in North Carolina received hygiene supplies, including bar soap, diapers, laundry detergent, and hygiene kits.
  • Rocky Run Elementary School, VA: 150 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies.
  • Shepperd Supply Inc., AL: 540 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies, blankets, and hygiene items.
  • Spaulding Elementary School, OH: 300 students received backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies, coats, and shoes.

No Family Should Go Hungry

At our partner sites across Appalachia, people are lining up, hoping there will be a food box waiting for them when they reach the front of the line.

We must rush 2,000 emergency food boxes to our partners so no one is turned away.
