Remember Fellow Countrymen in Need on this Most Patriotic Holiday!

July 3, 2014

This Fourth of July marks the 238th anniversary commemorating the adoption by the founding fathers of the Declaration of Independence from Great Britian.

Since 1990, Americans Helping Americans® has been aiding our fellow countrymen in need gain their own independence through emergency assistance, such as food boxes and utility costs, home repairs, new coats and shoes for children, and education as those living in the poorest regions of the country struggle for self-sufficiency.

On this most patriotic day of the year, we hope that you will remember those less fortunate by supporting Americans Helping Americans® in our mission to create better opportunities for those who aren’t able to enjoy a backyard barbecue or a picnic with their family.

In 2013 alone, thanks to your generosity, Americans Helping Americans® was able to assist more than 21,500 Americans living in poverty-stricken Appalachian communities in Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia, as well as many residing in our own nation’s capital, Washington, D.C.

During the past 24 years, Americans Helping Americans’® mission remains working to join American communities, build and strengthen neighbor relations and working side by side with residents to address community-wide concerns.

Please join us in that mission as we, together, link resources supportive of a healthy, safe and economically vibrant quality of life – and in doing so, making our country a better place for all.
